Judge Dan McCaffery: PA Supreme Court Justice

A Message from
Judge Dan McCaffery

“I am the son of Irish immigrants who fled their home to escape sectarian violence and to make a better life for their children. My parents joined unions, worked hard to support their family, and retired with dignity and pensions. Their example led me to a life of service: first in the military, then as a lawyer, now as a judge. The law is the vehicle that drives society toward a more level playing field. I have always worked to make our society more fair, inclusive, and accepting. Pennsylvanians deserve a justice who will always protect, obey, and defend the constitution. I believe I am that person. Over the next several months, I hope to earn your trust, your support, and your vote.”

Timika Lane: PA Superior Court Justice

A message from Judge Timika Lane

“Pennsylvanians deserve an experienced judge who is committed to the fair application of the law and will protect their rights. From human trafficking, rape, and attempted murder cases to cases involving the Consumer Protection Act, breach of contract, and mortgage foreclosure, I have presided over matters that intimately affect people’s lives. My judicial philosophy requires that everyone be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race, gender, orientation, religion, nationality, and beliefs.

“Raised in a blue-collar, union family with military roots, the importance of public service was planted in me at a very young age. As a public-school teacher, certified child advocate, attorney, and now judge,
I have dedicated my life to public service.
In Pennsylvania, the Superior Court is often the final legal resort, since the Supreme Court only hears a select group of cases. I understand the responsibilities that come with being a judge and I am ready to expand my service to the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Over the next several months, I hope to earn your support and your vote.”
